HP48GX and TI85 Calculator Page

Ever since hearing of the TI-85 I've been a calculator enthusiast of sorts. As a student of engineering, I suppose it's not that uncommon to become attached to my calculator. But my obsession appears to go a little further than most would admit. This area is a dedication to my thoughts regarding the two calculators with which I am most familiar; the TI-85, and my more recently purchased favorite, the HP-48GX.

When I get some time, this section will include my comparison of the two in great detail. Until then, I will add my most used links with short descriptions.

André Schoorl's Home Page Andre Schoorl is the author and co-author of many useful applications for the HP48 series. In general I have found his applications to be relatively stable, and extremely useful. Of particular interest is his "Java" software for the HP. His page includes lots of great software, and links to other HP sites.
Hewlett-Packard Calculator Bulletin Board
Hewlett-Packard Calculators HP's official product site.
HP Software FTP Site HP's calculator software site. Very large collection of software for the HP48, including the full set of "Horn Disks".

Sawson's HP 48 Page
The Win48 Official Homepage Dowloadable trial version of Win48 calculator emulation software for Windows95. This software enables the user to run a virtual HP48 on his/her PC (Win95, Win3.x, DOS). The trial version only runs for five minutes, but the software is relatively cheap. Unfortunately, I haven't scraped up the dough yet. Definitely a useful package. Appears to be well done. I haven't been able to configure it to load libraries yet, and I don't know if it will.
