Gift Ideas for Rebecca and Sean
This page is devoted to providing information on our current gift desires. If you want ideas this is the place to visit. Check back as often as you like. I would like to get to a point where all gift ideas have a link to a picture of the item, a link to someplace that will sell the item online, and a feature that will allow the user to know whether or not the gift has been already purchased (without ruining the surprise for the recievers of course). The first two items are do-able. The last one may or may not materialize due to the labor involved to implement such a feature.
Many of the items below are already linked to an online vendor that can provide the item. I have tried to stick with vendors whom I have previously used, unfortunately I cannot vouch for all of them. If you are not comfortable using your credit card online most of them will allow you to call to place the order. Anyway, remember that these are just ideas. Have fun. It may be busy on the net, so if it stops being fun just use the ideas and skip the links.
12/05/01 UPDATE!
As I mentioned previously, the gift page has been quite a hit. I've even received emails from people who browsed through and liked the site. Imagine that! The only problem has been that Rebecca and I sometimes get duplicates of exactly what we want! Other than that, everyone seems to think this is a good idea. So I suppose I'll continue to update it from time to time. If for no other reason than to remind me of the things I'd like to pick up when I get around to it.
Rebecca's Gift Ideas
- Bedsheets and Pillowcases: Wamsutta 300 thread per inch, 100% cotton, Off-White or Vanilla. We have lots of these but we could always use more. They're soooo soft.
- Car Wash Tokens: I mean it. It costs alot to wash a car. We like to go every two weeks. We'd love to go every week, but the car washes near Havertown are too expensive. Car wash tokens would be perfect.
- Pretty much anything from Ross Simons.
- CD's: Dunno. Be creative. Something new. Something with teen angst. Maybe twenty something angst. If you're feeling too adult maybe even some thirty something angst. Smashing Pumpkins?
- Brass Pot for Tree. 11"High x 12"Diameter or Larger.
- Speaker for Advent Wireless System. AW-8701. Available at CDW ($72).\
- Pepper Mill. Beck's been looking for a better pepper mill.
